welcome back everybody to the back nine holes of round one of the 2021 down east players cup presented by eastern disc golf and disc box i'm brian earhart joined here by again a legend in the disc sports world i am honored to be commentating with elaine king today elaine it's been a blast watching you on screen today and it's been a blast commenting commentating with you is that a word commentating it is commenting anyhow we are at meadowbrook park it is a great battle myself whitney graham deanne carey holly finley and we're going into hole number 10 628 feet and there you can see the leaderboard uh we've got natalie ryan also neck and neck with myself emily garner is up there too and uh it's a pretty good day we've had a little bit of rain in the front nine hole number 10 we start out in a little bit of a cove there's some random trees here it's really hard to get a line right to the basket uh but the landing zone is a little bit farther behind us and it's it's just a long way with a low ceiling so getting a three is pretty hard most women will be looking to take a four on hole 10. yeah super duper low sailing here and whitney is opting for the backhand trying to get a little turn almost got the full turn she was looking for but still popped up to a decent spot if you can get in front of that line of trees that's the minimum you're looking for and then as much distance as uh your throat can manage dianne was a little bit to the left there and i think she might have popped through the trees and there you go and i actually slipped on the tee which i almost never do but it was kind of sandy at the front and i could feel myself turning meanwhile holly gets the gap between the trees and it goes a long way up there she will be thrilled with that shot yeah that's going to feel good to finally hit the line that you're aiming you know you could tell she's frustrated so that's that's good to get one all the way down there and you're gonna have some work yeah it's pretty much an extra stroke...
