welcome back everybody to the round two coverage of the discraft great lakes open i'm brian earhart joined here by nate perkins thanks for joining us on gatekeeper media here nate round one was a fantastic display of this brand new toboggan track some of these new holes are absolutely beautiful and challenging we watched drew gibson carve the buzz all over the place we watched a lot of different play styles yesterday we move into round two the conditions are a little bit different than they were yesterday yeah brian we've got a little bit more wind out of the northwest it's still humid but the t-pads and the fairways are considerably drier and i'm expecting the scores to be a little bit lower for round two the wind did pick up a little bit as the day went on some holes greatly benefiting from it and somehow's definitely a lot more challenging because of it so we will see and let's jump into it and take a look hello and welcome disc golf fans to the front nine coverage of round two of the 2021 discraft great lakes open on the disc golf pro tour i'm brian earhart joined here by nate perkins yet again we are diving back into the toboggan nate i love this place we've got a great card paul macbeth corey ellis a name that not everyone knows but this man has played well at this course over the years and he absolutely rips to this has a very unique approach to the backhand throw and we've got garrett gerthy and silver lot all the way from estonia great to see him back over here competing all these players are in the mix just two strokes off the lead core else is just one stroke off the pace so we've got a ball game here anything can happen moving into hole number one we have the ob a little tighter than in years past it feels like moving to this elevated basket it's either a long turnover or a long forehand and like you said corey ellis is one of my favorite throwers of the disc he's tall lanky athletic and absolutely crushes with lots of spin it's going with the sidearm look at the sidearm too from corey huge heiser this is just such a fun shot too attempt and to watch from...
