this is lynch shackleford the world frisbee championships at the rose bowl in pasadena california with the rose bowl pasadena california there are 50 000 people here today for the 1978 world frisbee disc championship the united states canada welcome to huntsville alabama for the 1993 professional disc golf association world championships i'm john houck here in the town of chili where a former farm takes its place in disc golf history welcome to pdj sports coverage of the 2001 pro world championships sanctioned by the professional disc golf association i'm adam zucker and all the best players in the world have gathered here in allentown to compete for the world championship new 1999 world disc golf champion and he did it in style today for the fourth year in a row ken climo world champion of disc golf my name is chris dickerson i'm simon lizotte kid film holla my name is albert tam and i'm playing for team 9264. i've been playing for about seven years casually and maybe probably four years competitively yeah this is my my fifth world championship now and it is it feels a bit like a marathon it's a five round event even the four round events feel pretty long for us because usually we only play three round tournaments i've played at five total this would be my fifth world championship i think 16 was my first one 16 17 18 19. you know i try to come in with uh no expectations just trying to not put any pressure on myself but definitely i want to play well both courses actually here at mulligans and at the fort there's a couple holes i might play for par something i definitely would not have done two or three years ago the heat really doesn't bother me out here there's not that much humidity so for me it's hot but it's not anything unbearable of course the expectations are high but kind of my goal is to take these bigger goals into smaller goals i'm going to have the same expectations for this tournament or the next or the next i'm just going to come out here and do my best and see where that puts me welcome disc golf fans to gatekeeper media's coverage of the 2021 pdga professional disc golf world championships presented by grip six i'm brian earhart joined here...
