welcome back everybody to the back nine coverage of the quarterfinals of the 2021 disc golf pro tour championship brought to you by guaranteed rate i'm brian earhart joined here by nate perkins and we are watching hornet's nest sink its teeth into the card that we are watching right now matt aurum surviving the front nine three under par matt bell also two under but garrett girthy and andrew marweed have some work to do if they want to move on to the next round this course is playing tough it's a few strokes harder than last year and it gets progressively harder on this back nine we're taking a look at the front nine leader board and remember only four players advance and tour points break the tie so this is the chase card they would have to beat anyone playing on the lead card looking at hole 10 here really tricky 345 foot hole it's slightly uphill really tough shape a hard one to throw straight enough and get to ben right at the end yes you know i was working through this hole with haley king actually in course prep and i was looking at just throwing a straight shot on this hole not even looking at the bend of the fairway you can definitely get yourself to the edge of circle one by just throwing straight on this tee shot it's it's a tricky line oh and matt is going left side long turnover yeah look how tight that lane is to even enter the green long turnover from matt that's still going wow that's the back door but that is correct jump back to matt bell's form from the front exaggerated shoulder turn definitely turns his head away from the target early and he hops big time has like one of the bigger hops that i've seen definitely like steve brinster-esque and you you know the first thing that i asked when i first started playing disc golf is how do you throw it where you want if you're not looking at the target yeah and it took me a long time to figure that out you just do it over and over again and it's a lot of footwork a lot of alignment and you got to remember that when you are learning to improve your stroke at the at the early stages...
