welcome back everybody to round one of the 2021 disc golf pro tour match play championship we have a fantastic match for you right now emerson keith versus ricky wysocki yeah ricky he is the number two seed coming into this event because and only because this 16 field of 16 was determined after idlewild ricky actually went on to win the points title for the disco pro tour which is incredible considering that eagle mcmahon won four of the discover pro tours i believe okay rick won two disc golf pro tour events this year but 90 in the top ten i believe that's just one event outside the top ten i'll give it to you though emerson in match play is a different animal emerson is viciously competitive and loves going head-to-head ricky and emerson being poker buddies and hanging out quite a bit outside of disc golf as well their press conference like you said previously was absolutely hilarious let's see i think emerson is a wild card out here all right welcome to the inaugural disc golf pro tour match play championship presented by disc mania here at the steel club we've got a great car today first match up is ricky wysocki versus emerson keith please welcome our number two seed from camp povello south carolina ricky wysocki and obviously rick is a huge favorite to win anywhere he goes and he's having one of the best seasons of his life right now playing fantastic disc golf that's the first out of bounds throw we've seen on hole one and he was trying to bite off big distance there and now emerson just gets to put this one in play and he's ready to go he's taking a par and potentially beating ricky nice and simple puts it in play ricky's gonna have to go big time in his second shot it's pretty much his only option here and again just did not get over on that one oh emerson's gonna be walking away with a point on the first hole i mean i i'm i'm sure if he throws this second one in bounds they're just gonna pick up their discs on this one this first hole is causing some issues for a lot of players we've only really seen one birdie yeah we've seen one birdie by calvin heinberg it's a huge hole...
