hello everybody and welcome to the elite eight of the 2021 disc golf pro tour match play championship at the steel club presented by disk mania i'm brian earhart joined here by nate perkins we have moved on to the next level of the tournament and we are starting off this elite eight with a fantastic matchup of two young winners on the tour this year eagle mcmahon and adam hammes i don't i don't really know who has the advantage at this point both of these players can ball out here at the steel club this match play format has given us some fireworks we have seen players attempt shots that they wouldn't normally do in the middle of a round taking a look at our stat mando nine and two nine and two it's pretty solid eagle has the advantage going into this stats wise but i believe they both have what it takes to score very hot on this course hole number one i think you have to bite off the distance i think at this point everyone in the elite eight has what it takes to birdie this hole pretty easily we've only seen one birdie thus far welcome to the inaugural disc golf pro tour match play championship presented by this mania our first match off the tee is eagle mcmahon versus adam hames first on the t our number one seed from boulder colorado give it up for eagle mcmahon so it's a little bit warmer during this second round was actually a high of 87 not very humid but definitely a factor as far as the grip but one thing that did change is during the first round that the t-pads and the fairways were kind of slick we saw a couple slips it's pretty dry out there today yeah seems pretty still out here eagles throwing a good shot yeah he's just going flat to heiser with that pd2 and that's about 4.75 in eagles opponent today our 8c from minaqua wisconsin please put your hands together for adam hamis he's proven to us multiple times this year he is a winner and has what it takes to beat anybody at the top of this game both players have a full skill set all right adam going same disc he's still a ways away from the basket eagle has the luxury of...
