hello and welcome everybody to the front nine coverage of round one of the 2021 delaware disc golf challenge presented by end of a champion discs i'm brian earhart joined here by my lefty co-host nathan queen nathan we are coming back in the woods we're at iron hill phenomenal track pretty universally loved by the players out here nathan what are you thinking it's my first year out here and i was definitely excited to get out and attack this course we've got lots of wooded lines to hit but the lines are clean if you stay in the middle once you get off of the fairway it's a bit scrambly yeah we have a pretty good mix of play styles on our card and pretty much all the best players are here except for actually the man up top paul macbeth is taking a rest before the final stretch of the tour so it's really anybody's game out here we're gonna bring you the flight factory drone flyover on hole number one 605 foot par 4. it seems like a pretty hard dog leg right but it's a lot straighter of a first shot than you think you really want to throw a slight turnover with the righty backhand then let it flatten out and just kind of drift straight down the way rather than go off to the left or the right excuse me and this man coming off a huge dominant victory in the woods at stafford woods and he has found uh some focus in this late stretch of the season he's lots of good play these last few weeks and i'm sure he's looking to keep it going here at delaware high forehand just a pure hyzer and as long as that stayed far enough left michael johansson that should spike down and not really flare into the woods with how high he threw it and i have to guess mj's gonna play this course exactly the same as how he played stafford he's gonna be throwing a lot of comets turning around oh double take on that one he had to make sure it was good and colton's only pro tour victories in waco in the woods so he definitely has what it takes to shoot well out here a lot of long distance straight shots yeah he's been playing well this year...
