welcome back to the back nine coverage of gatekeeper media's coverage of the 2020 lost valley open presented by dismania i'm steve bro td as well as course designer here with dustin keegan hey this is uh really exciting footage in round one yeah we've got we've got the back nine here and we have some uh some tight scores we've got simon lizat who has really started off looking for an eagle but birdieing quite a bit of holes he's sitting at about five down right now and then we have andrew fish right on his heels so we've got some people under par we've got some exciting golf to watch here as we conclude the front nine or the uh the first round of the back nine so as you can see here we've got simon at five down fish at four down uh dusting yourself a two down and mike carmen have one down all right we got the second card casey is leading it at three down steve brinster two down connor at two down and yourself steve at one a lot under disciplinary representation here we've got some some some young players in connor who's out here really kind of started off firing and playing well but we also have quite a few players that are top rated players from the northeast that are certainly competing so here's casey on hole number 10. that's perfect the goal here is just to land short of that green so that's right where you want to be yeah you can certainly test this green and those bunkers if you're too aggressive on this shot you really just want to play a nice controlled shot and then have a good look up at the basket let's see if conor can control his his power looks perfect and we'll see what see what i can do here you know throwing it extremely low into the ground making that upshot a little bit more difficult than i wanted you can see how far back i am off of where everybody else is and it just makes that uphill look a little bit tougher yeah there's a lot of low ceiling branches hanging down so the farther you are away down the slope makes that gap even smaller i ended up in a place you don't want to be off to the...
