welcome back everybody to the back nine coverage of round one of the 2020 ledgestone insurance open presented by grip equipment i'm brian earhart joined again by tristan tanner what's up dude how's it going everybody uh we had an exciting front nine kevin jones is absolutely lighting it up philo's having a pretty decent round and the other two players are just having a little bit of a struggle but we'll see if they can turn it around going into the back line yeah northwoods is uh kind of unpredictable i think there's scoring opportunities around the corner at all times but there's also opportunities to take huge numbers out here um and yeah getting into the back nine here i think one of the tougher back nines that we see in the sport of disc golf in general yeah definitely we got the the huge par 5 12 coming up uh and multiple hard part threes and par fours all around it uh you see kevin shooting the hot five down filo at two down andrew at two over and brody at five over see tim barham starting out super hot six down and it's so interesting seeing these scores come in as hot on tour usually we're seeing double digits get shot and things like that but it looks like we finally have a fair challenging course hole number 10 is a 560 foot par 4 that moves down to the left after the straight t shot most players are going to be playing just something straight probably a fairway driver and let it finish slightly left some players also go super aggressive with a distance driver and try to get down this hill uh maybe give themselves a long two look it's a very very precise shot off the tee and then you're faced with a lot of random red and green zones where you can get up and down for birdie or you have to throw something miraculous to give yourself a putt and knowing kev i know he's been working really hard in this low flat shot with the driver that's got to get inside oh boy and that kick left is really tough on this hole because you he will have to work back to the gap to then get up and down here's filo going with that pink dx rock i believe...
