welcome back everyone to round two front nine coverage of the 2020 great lakes open presented by discraft the world leader in disc sports i'm brian earhart joined again by tristan tanner and uh we have a new card today yeah today's gonna be a fun round a little bit warmer weather than we had the the first day maybe a little bit less wind yeah and we had some scorching uh scores come in yesterday no 18 under pars but with the uh subtle changes to the course i think uh what's been put up is pretty ridiculous uh calvin heimerd putting up a 13 under par and uh it's uh shaping up to be quite a competitive event yeah we have a lot of good players at the top and a lot of players looking to take advantage of some maybe a little bit better scoring conditions today yeah we have nikola castro james conrad emerson keith and andrew presnell four different companies being represented on this card should be a blast in a lot of differing play styles and as you can see our lead card all shot in the double digits 211 under par is a 12 under part and a 13 from calvin heinberg and let's see if this card can uh can catch him today hole one is a 477 foot par-3 plays quite a bit shorter than that with a big downhill a lot of players are going to be playing some sort of turnover or a forehand shot uh into this green and really it's just trying to get right towards that basket yes that's that's the most challenging part i think a lot of players are tempted to go way wide because it looks nice but this is actually if he gets the distance wow and that fought through really far that just didn't pan out for him this james dx rock 3 that he loves so much this i like a little bit better actually a little bit lower line that's a beautiful shot emerson has all the forehand power to get to this basket another very solid flick here i believe that's a ballista pro maybe just outside the circle and president despite uh working pretty hard on his sidearm recently is probably going to be opting for a lot of these backhand turnover lines and that was so...
