2019 Stafford Open | RD1, B9 | Panis, Perendi, Sassaman, Finley
The 2019 Stafford Open, driven by Innova Champion Discs and produced by PDG, is a premier disc golf event that took place at the Stafford Open course in New Jersey. This year's tournament saw a significant increase in female participation, with 15 ladies competing in the second annual event, which was also an eight-year anniversary for the PDG-sponsored tournament. The back nine of the course is featured, including holes 10 and 11, where Holly Finley and Kona Panis showcased their skills. These tight tunnel shots require precision and control, as seen with Finley's drive that landed just behind the basket and Kona's mid-range shot to escape the woods. Meanwhile, Margaret Principe demonstrated her expertise with a well-struck fairway shot, lining up for a low-line putt. welcome back to the 2019 Stafford open a tear with FPO coverage of the back nine I am Adam Harris and I am here with my lovely wife Becky Harris here today it is like said 2019 Stafford opened driven by innovate champion discs and this is the second year for the PDG a eight-year event here at Stafford open I think last year we had five ladies show up and this year we had 15 I think it was another 14 or 15 or 15 so that was three times the amount of women that showed up so that's great to see in New Jersey here just to recap Holly Finley shooting even after the front nine Crona panas plus one and here we are on hole ten which is a 257 foot par three which is a tight tunnel shot the first two guardian trees are rather large trees that really pose an obstacle to the eye and then it opens up a little bit before it gets a little tight down by the green we have Holly lining up her drive she makes it through great shot whoo very nicely played a few feet behind that's gonna be on circles edge and up next we have Kona panis again shooting a +1 after the front nine and just hit the tree goes in the woods this is a tight tight hole in Marie's prend knee up third she shot a +2 on the front nine shoots that uh-oh she just goes right in the woods she hits that a guardian tree to the left I know on this hole I throw a mid-range off the tee I'm not sure what you throw off the tee same same same I'm throwing it just a normal rock looks like Margaret was throwing the same thing looks like a mid-range off the tee Kona with a forehand shot just really just trying to get out of the woods and back on the fort on the fairway safely which it looks like she did but she'd leave her a long putt for a par Margaret laid in the middle of the fairway after she her hit off the tree she lines up her second shot that's gonna slide right to it very well played nice clean low line keep herself out of trouble Maurice does look like those she's in just...
