welcome back disc golf fans derek skull here with gate keeper media and yet again Mike Moser here beside me for the commentary guest spot we are at the final nine of the 2019 Stafford open this event is brought to you by n of champion discs and again this is the second year in a row that this has been a lovely eight here this crew really knows how to put an event together and this coverage is brought to you by in of a disc golf we're gonna head on over to our card leaderboard to see where we're at how do you feeling right now Mike well I feel like I'm kind of stuck where I am you know Matt's really playing good golf and he's quite a bit ahead and I've gotten enough ahead of Colton where I am but I'm not giving up no that's that's probably the worst thing you could do okay alright so take us into hole one here we are a hole one three hundred nine feet straight shot very straight and that's basically it the game yeah miss the one trick miss that one tree that gets everybody don't go left when it seems like each nine here at the course place you know just for a straight shot you know hold on and hole ten both right yeah and straight shots are the hardest thing to throw in this golf so yeah it's a test to start off with any of these so I got my flip up right this time and got it down there Matt okay they're basically where I was so we're sitting right next to you each other I'm sure you know Reed with the lefty basically still has the same kind of shot yeah right got through though down there for some kind of putt mm-hmm that's the tree and that's the kick he don't he's been and he's been meeting that tree quite often this event yeah so he's definitely in a in a very hard spot to get up and down from I just can't quite get over that log cut some of those laurels coming out this still isn't yeah I'll just say I still not a easy shot and he catches another early tree still looking oh great run very much needed so I'm about three feet outside the circle...
