The 2019 303 Open presented by Discmania is back in action, and Gate Keeper Media has you covered with exclusive coverage of Round 2. Chris Sherman and Derek Scholl are on hand to bring you all the action from the back nine, where golf gets even more challenging. Millennium Golf Discs-powered players MJ and Joe are putting on a show, both sitting at 7-under par through 39 holes. As we approach the halfway point, Luke Humphreys is making a comeback after starting his round slowly. He'll need to be aggressive on hole 10, a short par-3 with a steep downhill slope. Chris and Derek will break down the strategy for this hole and more, including the unique tee pad design that's got everyone talking. The guys will also discuss ways to improve tee box management at courses like this one, which requires creative solutions. what is up disk golf fans this is Chris Sherman along beside me is Derek Scholl we are gate keeper media bringing you back 9 coverage of the round to the 2019 303 open presented by discmania as always this coverage is powered by millennium golf discs pretty good starts for MJ and Joe both those guys sitting at 7-under 39 quite a showing yeah so MJ actually caught up to Eagle Eagle not the hottest round so far he was 3-under still log off the play that we're at the halfway point so still a lot of golf out there definitely opens up on this back nine we're gonna have a short hole here with hole 10 coming in at 285 feet par 3 it's downhill so it plays a lot shorter you have a backstop after that couple long holes that we have earlier this is a nice kind of breather gimme two that you can get yeah and this is one that you know you should be as aggressive as you can be on this hole yeah because there's the punishment level is next to none yeah well I'm not gonna eat it but it's it's puttable here we have Luke Humphreys he started off his round pretty slow he had a couple Obi's a couple bogeys but he's had since picked it up now something to call here I believe this is the only natural tee pad in the entire tournament all the other ones have rubber mats or it utilizes a sidewalk more than has concrete so I I do actually believe this is something right no now that is as aggressive as you can be right off the band oh no Joe's gonna fortunately take a three there he's gonna lose a stroke to the cart it looks like I do believe you're right with the tee pad thing it's interesting it'll be really nice to see if they're able to find a way to implement like permanent tee boxes for this type of layout without doing anything too crazy from the other two courses that are more rational or at least clearing it maybe where you can have like pavers installed and then removed after the event or something like that hole 11 has the longest tee pad yeah on the course coming in about 30 feet it was funny a glass blown...
