hello race fans welcome to dis golf daily it's Thursday February 29th we are the podcast that gets you caught up with this golf growth and news in just 10 minutes happy leap year if you find something interesting share the podcast with a friend today is the unified rankings of dis golf day we call it urge day stay tuned to see who's number one in the world our number one news story of the day comes to us from disc golf fanatic on Facebook this is something that I missed during the tournament during the chess.com Invitational Kevin Jones teaches us a new rule apparently if you're not at the tea 5 minutes prior to tea off perhaps this is for elite events and above I'm not sure it is a two-stroke penalty Kevin got to the tea with less than 5 minutes before his tea time and received the penalty I enjoyed the comments about this one of which pointed out that if you arrive just after the tea time it's par plus 4 if you show up before the tea time but within that 5 minutes it's a two-stroke penalty you obviously show up early enough before that 5 minutes it's no penalty so that 5 minutes uh before the te has a a progressive penalty structure um if you're on time you're late that's what everybody's dad used to say I expect this won't happen again to any pros without due cause and I expect it will help the professionalism of the sport just a little bit more thank you to the event the pro tour and the PDGA for enforcing the rule and thank you to Kevin for helping us learn it number two news story of the day the memorial MP40 YouTube coverage put out by the disc golf guy thank you Terry for providing this coverage this is a story I would not normally care about except the players on the card were telling kale Leisa Steve brinster KJ nibo the original KJ and Pete ulubari Paul's older brother wow uh that is a card that I would definitely watch Perhaps it is time to start thinking about a master's tour oh speaking of which the Master's tour exists let's hope it grows into something super special they're in Alabama this week links in the show notes to all of those and...
