Why Worlds shouldn't be a major
The concept of majors in disc golf is often misunderstood and overhyped. The creator draws parallels between disc golf and traditional golf, pointing out that the main difference lies in the word "disc" preceding it. By comparing the four major tournaments in traditional golf – Augusta, US Open, PGA Championship, and Masters – to those in disc golf, we can see that the latter lacks true depth and prestige. The creator discusses how the majors in disc golf are often less consistent and have a history of changing dates, making them less predictable and less impressive than their traditional counterparts.
