welcome into the trevor staub show episode number three today we have a special guest eric oakley we're going to talk to eric about switching from dynamic discs over to infinite and what it's like throwing a mixed bag and just a little disclaimer before we start this interview was taken weeks ago this is uh before if you guys are following uh eric oakley he posted on his instagram account that he actually had an injury which caused him to have to delay his start to the tour i actually asked him about that in the interview before he told me so that's kind of why he wasn't able to answer it just in case you're wondering during that section of the interview what he's referring to he's talking about how he had to start his tour later and we later found out it was because of his injury but other than that let's go ahead and jump right into it alright so today we've got a really special guest we've got a beloved member of the disc golf pro tour the man who brought us whale sacks and who also carried far too many felons in his bag eric oakley eric thank you so much for coming on the show stoked to be here man thanks for having me yeah absolutely so you know other than you know we'll kind of get to the more current events so other than kind of your you know the what everybody's been talking about with you which is your big switch you know talk about just you know how's your offseason been going on you know you know what you've been working on you know how's it been uh it's been solid i've just been kind of grinding on trying to get you know improve in every aspect uh i had issues uh with you know just distance drivers in general uh last year so i was throwing a lot of just fairway drivers just to kind of keep it a little more simple so that's been a big main focus is trying to get that distance driver comfort back and being able to kind of stretch because i mean you've seen it on the pro tour where the courses are just getting longer and having i can't get away with throwing a fairway driver on every single shot i gotta...
