does and so i put out sent out this tweet just because i was like looking through the pdga like like i do uh looking at their articles and stuff i saw the call for candidates and i saw where they'd like posted about it too on social media and like i remember last year we we pushed you know everyone to vote and some of the people that got on were like that david shref guy who has like a crazy list of accolades behind his name and stuff like that yeah and i was like man this past year have we really seen that much change happen based on i know it hasn't been a full year i think the elections were in september but like based on some of the people that got elected onto the board i felt like more would have happened right so i put out a tweet and just said how much influence does the board of directors have on the pdga legitimately asking with the board of director nominations going on now just because i know at some places board of directors can almost fall into like a figurehead role where everyone thinks they have say but they don't you know what i'm saying so i was just like asking more so like what is the people who have been on the board of directors who are currently on the board directors like what do you what do you all do basically i got a few responses uh from people who know some people were just you know trolling it's twitter it happens but people who would know uh one is robert leonard yeah um who was the td for champions cup most recently and very involved with the pediatrics see if these answers line up from what i heard from nate so he said for starters the things that people directly feel so basically things that you'll notice the board making difference um the board approves all majors the board approves rule and competition changes and then he said tons more budget etc but those are the main ones that people reference so basically a lot more goes on behind the scenes that like people aren't directly influenced by but the two that you really feel are approving majors and approving rules and competition changes which i'll say on the rules...
