The Biggest B-Tier Ever?! | Grip Locked Clips
The Biggest B-Tier Ever?! | Grip Locked Clips Discover what's behind the biggest beats in recent b-tier events, including the Lone Star Classic with a record-breaking $30,000 cash prize and spots at major championships like USDGC and Women's National Championship. The show breaks down why this event didn't quite reach A-tier expectations, speculating about restrictions on newer events and uncertainty around added cash announcements. Hosts discuss their thoughts on the tier system, weighing pros and cons of having a b-tier event with significant prize money, featuring notable players like Double G and Conrad, who were part of a decent but ultimately disappointing field. The conversation also touches on the convenience of hosting in Texas, where many players were already present, adding to the event's surprise lack of attendance.

we've got a pretty action-packed show here a lot of news is broke over well not a ton but some news has broke over the last week or so and plus we had quite possibly the biggest beats here of all time i'm just going to throw i'm gonna call it the biggest beat here of all time it's a pretty big one because it was the lone star classic with thirty thousand dollars added cash and usdgc and women's national championship spots up for grabs um plus everybody was already in texas so it just kind of was very convenient which to be honest with you the field was not as stacked as you would have expected no um which was kind of surprising i guess that's that's is it's weird i don't know yeah um the biggest question that i was that came up when i first saw this event is why the heck is this not an a tier yeah i i wonder well i think it probably has something to do with the a tier restrictions this year right like they were tough yeah that's why we i mean i know the answer it's like it's a newer evening and also my second question then is well yeah like i guess the newer event and then we don't really know when the added cash was announced you know it's it could have been like a later thing so i mean the title sponsor put up i believe it was twenty five thousand of the thirty five thousand of it was it must have been that it's too new then that's probably the only answer to that so that's exactly what i was assuming um if that is the case do you like that an event like this with this much like i've said before i like the tier system and the way it's ran but when looking at it i'm not sure that i do because i feel like the only reason this wasn't better attended is because of the tier being a b tier and also the fact like it's not a silver series or anything like that yeah it's just weird to me that we can have an event with this much added cash and there were some decent names double g was there conrad was there yeah but like they were the highest...
