Super Light vs. Extremely Heavy Disc Battle!

The Super Light vs. Extremely Heavy Disc Battle! pits two training wizards from Foundation Discs against each other in a battle of strength and technique. The heavy hitter, a 278g disc, is significantly denser than typical putters, with a maximum weight limit set by PDJ at 180g. In contrast, the Ultra Light Challenger, weighing in at 118g, is designed for slower arm speeds, making it easy to throw for beginners or those just getting into the sport. The video showcases a unique experiment where one player uses the heavy disc and then switches to the light disc, and vice versa, highlighting the contrasting throwing styles required for each weight. Watch as these training wizards face off in a 9-hole round, with the switch from heavy to light and back again, showcasing their adaptability and technique.

What is good, Foundation Nation? Today, we're battling with the heaviest disc on the market and the lightest disc on the market. >> So, we have these in stock right now over at foundation discs.com. They're training wizards. And when they came in, we were like, we need to do a video with them because this is 278 g, which if you're not familiar with disc weights, the max disc weight that is typically PDJ approved is like 180. And that's like a a mid-range. Your putters typically go to like 175. So this is 100 g heavier than typical for your puzzler. I mean it's it's dense. You can tell it when you're holding it. So the goal of the training wizard is basically like if you puted with this a bunch, it's kind of like using a heavy ball in basketball. You putt with this a bunch, it's going to strengthen those muscles in theory. And then when you putt with your normal disc, it'll make you putt farther easier, right? So that's kind of the idea. We're just going to play with it. And then this is the opposite. This is the discrafts like uh ultra light jawbreaker plastic they put out. This is a 118 gram Challenger, which is basically like uh discs for little kids or older people, slower arm speed, first getting into the sport, that type stuff. So, super easy to throw. 160 g is the diff difference here. So, what we're going to do is we're going to have one of us is going to be light, one of us is going to be heavy. We're going to play nine holes that way, and then we're going to switch and play the back nine that way. Um, the switch is going to be fascinating because you'll either go from throwing super heavy. >> Middle of this round is going to be very >> to super light or super light to like you're all used to little touchy let barely flick your wrist and then go to like >> Yeah, I think I really don't want to go from light to heavy. I don't want to go from light to heavy. Heavy to light at least your arm gets the >> heavy to light though. You're going to happen in the woods and it just yanks. But uh how are we deciding who...
