welcome to the nick and matt show bringing the player interviews you want to hear and the hot topics you want to discuss streaming live on the foundation podcast youtube channel here's nick and matt all right everybody without further ado our first guest of the night uh missy gannon all the way from wherever she is i know her profile says uh new york i think it says beacon new york uh where are you calling us from tonight missy i am somewhere in missouri um not quite sure where so we just kind of pulled off to uh you know rest area and uh decided to join you guys nice we appreciate it definitely yeah it's always such a funny way of getting guests on it's just like oh by the way you're probably gonna have to pull over for like 20 minutes so you can do this interview really quick but now we appreciate you taking time out of your drive you've probably been driving all day you're ready to get into missouri for the next tournament that is happening the mid-america open but we appreciate you coming on we got some questions for you now yeah so missy i think the first time and i don't know if you'll remember this but the first time i met you is on a ferry trip over to nantucket okay okay you're nodding your head that's for our listeners she's in agreement good we're on the same page and i remember so that was my introduction to who you were like i was just like i was just meeting another disc golfer is what that was you and your boyfriend at the time and i was just like hey who are you um but i feel like now you've demonstrated a lot of your skills on a a pretty large scale media you've had a lot of attention over the last year changing sponsors all of that um what do you see as your biggest improvement from when you started in the beginning uh over the past few years where you've really come to create your own person i guess in the in the disc golf world like people know who you are what is it what's what's happened like over since you started till now yeah uh yeah and actually when i met you on that ferry ride...
