Pro Tour Additional Set Of Rules? | Debate Night Clips
Debate rages on in the world of magic: the gathering as players discuss potential rule changes to the Pro Tour format. Specifically, two unusual rules at Masters Cup are up for scrutiny - one that seems "backwards" and another where cart paths serve as both obstacles and pathways. The discussion centers around how these rules might impact gameplay, with some suggesting they create an unfair advantage or penalize players unnecessarily. Other pros share their own experiences playing holes with inconsistent cart path designs, sparking further debate about what constitutes a hazard or out-of-bounds area. there were two rules at masters cup that i've never seen before and maybe maybe you can tell me if you've seen these okay and then there is also some holes at otb that are playing two meter and some holes that aren't which i also find very fascinating okay because i've never played a tournament where you are you can pick and choose what holes to play so here are the two rules i'll give you the first one that's just weird and then the second one's like what the heck is this okay so first one part three dog leg to the left okay all right um you have a cart path down the left hand side that's ob and then left of the cart path we usually would play like ob is left or sorry ob cart path and beyond right yep this whole played ob cart path river yeah left of left of the cart path is hazard which i think it's i think it's almost like backwards right where it's like it should in my opinion it should be like hazard hazard hazard and then ob is how i would think it would make sense so we actually had a shot i don't think this happened on live but we actually had a shot drew through his tee shot it clipped a tree landed in the hazard so it's inbounds inbounds inbounds clips the tree now it's over the cart path then it hits onto the hill on the hazard then rolls down the hill into the car path ob okay so now we're like where the heck does he take yeah that's a great take it in because and my question is like i'm guessing there's some people that would have take like he would have been able to advance 40 50 feet up yeah and gone where it last rolled out of bounds from the hazard but i view the hazard as a penalty area and not inbound correct so like right there that's like a weird one that's fascinating um yeah because i second one i've played holes where i've played holes where the cart path's a river so that's not weird to me um i've nev and i've played holes where car path and beyond is like a hazard or ob i definitely think that the right idea would have been...
