welcome into the trevor stop show episode number 13. today we have a great guest we've got nate heinold nate is the pga board of directors president he is also the head of legendstone disc golf he's a tournament director for d glow as well as the ledgestone insurance open so he's got all kinds of important roles we're going to ask him about pdga ratings hot topic we're also going to ask him about all the things he's doing with legislative insurance open this year and what does the board of directors for the pga even do we're going to really get it in all of that he's got a lot of good information that you're going to want to hear so let's hop right into it okay i'm here now with our guest we have the president of the board of directors for the pdga the man behind ledstone disc golf he's the tournament director for the ledgestone insurance open as well as the discraft great lakes open we have nate heinold thank you so much for joining the show nate thanks for having me trevor yeah absolutely um so i kind of just want to start from the beginning um just kind of i know i mentioned a few of the things you're doing but kind of give everybody an overview of where you kind of are at right now just the the broad things that you're doing in the sport of disc golf at the moment yeah um as you said i i run the ledgestone open um we're gonna have 2 300 players this year run d-glow now we have over a thousand signed up there uh we're running combined worlds this year we have 1100 signed up there and then i uh and the board president for the pdj and i chair the paul macbeth foundation and i am the chair of the pdj majors committee and i'm sure i'm forgetting something obviously i i run the ledge stone um you know we have the ledgestone pro shop and the wholesale program for our vendors um that is that's how it covers it uh yeah i just wanted to give everybody kind of an idea uh of just all the things that you're kind of doing at disc golf because it's a very long list but let's kind of start all the way at...
