uh if you haven't seen it yet a rules official called niko on a time violation of the 18th hole in round two nico proceeded to get up in his face ask him why multiple times before the telling the official ask him why is like a nice way to put that basically what he did yeah he basically yelled why like right in his face before telling the official to step away which the official did and then nico went after him and gets back into saying you want to stare me down and then the camera cuts so we don't really know what happens beyond that uh after the round he was approached by the pvga director of competition and refused to cooperate per the pvga yeah bro like what a that was even better that he didn't even cooperate afterwards the ppga statement says additionally when approached by jeff shkwad pdj's director of competition for further information on the incident mr castro refused to cooperate or even discuss the matter uh and then competition manual 303 point b8 states that obstruction of or failure or refusal to cooperate with any investigation by an official into a player conduct or the conduct of another player also constitutes as player misconduct which led to nico being disqualified from the tournament since then gateway has made the following statement gateway disc sports is not condoned the actions are behaviors of our mixed bag sponsored player nikola castro at the european open yesterday effective immediately nico's contract with gds gateway dysports will be suspended until a full investigation surrounding the incident can be conducted we apologize for any damage his actions may have caused for the european open its organizers and sponsors the pga the pro tour and the sport of disc golf as a whole gateway dysport is a small business that employs dozens of people and supports thousands of courses clubs players and events we ask the disc golf community not to hold our brand distributor supporters or affiliates accountable for the actions of one individual player clash discs is other sponsors i want to know what lawyer they got to write that statement is very eloquent and i'm just like who wrote that that must have been a difficult conversation yes for dave uh clash discs also released a statement and said clash dis would like to thank...
