New Disc Dyeing Technique Never Seen Before | Plastic Addict 22

Meet Trevor and Plastic Addict 22, two creative minds pushing the boundaries of disc dyeing techniques. In their latest episode (Episode 22), they attempt a novel approach that has never been done before, at least according to Trevor's knowledge. Inspired by the pendulum painting technique, where paint flows through a hole in a container attached to a string, Trevor adapts this concept to create a unique design on a disc. With acetone and pro chemical die mixed together, Trevor crafts a specialized glue bed mixture that will be used as the medium for his experiment. The goal is to replicate the intricate designs typically achieved using wood or canvas beneath the disc. However, there's a catch – Trevor suspects that the current mixture might not hold up well on its own and decides to test it out with the pendulum technique. Will this unorthodox approach yield the desired results? Tune in to find out as Trevor shares his journey and creative process.

what is up everyone and welcome back to plastic addict this is episode number 22 and today we're gonna be doing a die that no one has ever done before at least to my knowledge let's get into it all right so me and trevor were back at the office talking just chatting it up and we were thinking of doing the you know how i'll put i'll put up a picture here the pendulum painting you know how that works you have basically have like a bucket of paint a cup of paint on a string and then this moves around and creates a really cool design and there's a hole in the bottom of this so the paint comes out slowly and um so i really wanted to try it on a disc so usually they have like a piece of wood or canvas at the bottom and it creates a really really cool design and so i want to see if i can recreate that but on a disc and uh so i've come up with a little design and hopefully this all works out basically we're going to have a disc on the ground and we're going to have one of these containers with the hole in the in the bottom here and this is just the glue bed mixture that i've been using uh two ounces of acetone mixed with half a teaspoon of uh the pro chemical die and i will like i said i'll have a hole in the bottom here and basically this is going to swing on a pendulum like and create a really cool design hopefully on the disc because that hole is going to be in the bottom of the disc there i i have a feeling we might need to thicken this up because it is a little um it is a little thin and is very it seems like it's going to come out fast so i don't know we can we can just kind of judge like do we do we need to thicken it up or not but yeah let's hop right into this i have already created a little setup to do this with and so uh yeah let's see if this works hopefully this works flawlessly i i have a intuition here that something's gonna go wrong and i think we're gonna need...
