Loudest Hole In Disc Golf

The concept of creating the loudest hole in disc golf is explored in this thought-provoking discussion. The idea, while not feasible for major tournaments due to crowd control and safety concerns, sparks curiosity about potential venues that could make it work on a smaller scale. Maple Hill's "Whole 8" is mentioned as a potential location, but its timing during the playoffs raises questions about the feasibility of such an event. The conversation touches on the need for a well-designed hole, suitable for a par-three setup, and the importance of creating an organic atmosphere that encourages player and spectator interaction. Las Vegas's "16" hole is discussed as a possible alternative, with its natural rowdy crowd and existing stadium setup making it an intriguing option. By examining these ideas and considering the challenges involved, viewers can gain insight into what makes a successful disc golf event and the possibilities for innovation in this rapidly growing sport.

should a tournament make that like hey let's make the loudest hole in disc golf where you walk up to it and you know obviously in disc golf it wouldn't be 60 70 000 people but it might be able to be four or 500 people who are still you know cheering the entire time you're you know chanting your name walking up similar to whole eight at maple hill but a little bit of a bigger scale where they can do it there or not and um if they do if there is a hole what hole would you pick as like this whole makes a lot of sense to have it is it whole eight at maple hill or do you even think it's a was it a bad idea for disc golf yeah so i think i mean i think maple hill especially now with with the the playoffs being the way they are and it being towards the end of the season i don't think that's a good idea um i don't even think about it being playoffs because waste management's very early on in the season um and i mean it's a big tournament obviously but it's it's not it's not a situation of where guys are uh you know you know scrapping for points near the end of the season to try to make it into the playoffs or whatever it may be so if they were gonna do it honestly like a tournament like las vegas uh finding a hole at las vegas would be not a bad idea or even a um i'm trying to think like the earlier tournaments are kind of iffy like wanko there's not really a good hole i'm thinking off the top of my head because you need a couple things right you need you need an actual good hole to where you can you it needs to be some sort of par three situation um but then at the same time i feel like it has to organically happen yeah um i think with 16 it kind of it was kind of a two-fold of where they organically allowed the crowd to kind of get rowdy and i think some of the players played up to that but at the same time they built you know the stadium and the people will come type of thing...
