foreign talking point for today um this kind of blew up on Facebook and stuff uh I don't know what this this is apparent this is well I know this is an outside disc golf location Colette I don't know anything else about them this is the first time I've ever seen anything from them they wrote an article called disc golfs Leah Thomas moment and then the sub header says as a biological as a biologically male player continues a meteoric rise on the female circuit women are starting to speak out um what caught my attention I read most of this um uh uh but what caught my attention is a few different quotes in here from female competitors all anonymously do they like give any any context to like who the like not who they are but like where the fpo players are coming from like are they from the tour yes so like this one for instance um the first paragraph starts I'll just read the first paragraph for female professional disc golfers the July 29th through 31st is craft Great Lakes open in Milford Michigan represented a watershed marking it the first time in the young Sports history that an Elite Series tournament offered women the same first place prize money as men it should have been a great moment one of the female competitors told me once the crowd crowds had gone home but then the thing ended and the winners weren't a male and female it was basically two males so basically one one of the female competitors would allude to someone who played in The Tour event d-glo um which tells us a little and then farther down here it says the current female tour only came onto the scene in 2016 and this one it calls a well-known female Pro told me and then it continues to quote this well-known female Pro which could mean anything yeah I could mean anything uh said there'd been a tour going on since 2000 but in those days even most of the top professionals had side jobs the men's game was probably economically viable as a full-time occupation by the early 2010s but the women's game wasn't really viable until a few years ago so yeah the time into this is interesting it's just all too convenient that now is when and then Prince...
