Jonesboro Open Preview | Grip Locked
Grip Locked previews the Jonesboro Open, one of the longest-running tour stops on the PGA Tour, coming up this weekend in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The event has a rich history, dating back to 2017 as part of the inaugural "It's Longer" season, and is considered a classic stop on the circuit. With the Major Championship just weeks prior, the field is likely to be affected by the mental fatigue and preparation that comes with competing at the highest level. Grip Locked shares their insights on how this event may differ from others in the early season schedule, particularly given the brand-new major format and its relatively minimal impact. The conversation also touches on the typical struggles players face after a Major Championship, as well as the unique dynamics of competing just one week later.
