Is This The End of Paul McBeth's Decade Long Reign? | The World Championship Preview Show
Paul McBeth's decade-long reign as disc golf world champion may be coming to an end, and the PDGA World Championships are just around the corner. The event takes place at Smuggler's Notch in Vermont, where notable changes have been made to the course layout. New holes have been added and existing ones altered, with hole three now featuring a t-pad hole eight that has been moved back to become a par five. Additionally, new pins for MP and FPO will be tested, as well as some new obstacles on hole seven. The world's top players, including Paul McBeth, Kristen Kidd, Missy Gannon, and Ganon Buhr, will face off in a battle for disc golf supremacy. The teams that emerged victorious from the Mixed World's Doubles event last weekend have also been selected to represent their countries at the championships. With some teams appearing to be carefully curated and others seemingly chosen by chance, excitement is building among fans of the sport as they look forward to another thrilling PDGA World Championships.
