welcome into the trevor staub show episode number five today we have a really fun guest we have craig kitchens and you may be wondering who's craig kitchen well craig kitchens is the creator and founder of idiosports idiosports kind of broke news earlier i think was last year now with the creation of the first shoe specifically designed for disc golf this is a really fascinating interview got to get a lot of insight on what went into the creation of that shoe and why this shoe could be the future of disc golf footwear let's get right into it alright so i'm here with a special guest i've got the owner creator the founder of idiosports craig kitchens this is if for those of you who aren't familiar with idiom kind of like broke news a little bit on the disc golf scene when they came out their kickstarter for a disc golf specific shoe a shoe supposed to be you know really designed for the sport of disc golf and uh people went nuts the kickstarter blew up and uh everybody is anticipating their you know idiosyncrasy shoes so uh craig thanks for joining the show you got a pair there yeah absolutely thanks for having me i appreciate it yeah so i think the best way to get started with this is kind of let's just go all the way back to the beginning because you know i did some research and i you know i saw this wasn't just some overnight idea for you you know this is a long you know three year process before you even had a prototype so kind of take us back even before the creation of the shoe you know you know where did the idea come from but then you know what kind of experience did you already have in your career that kind of allowed you to kind of turn it into a reality you know what was that like yeah i think going into this um just sort of uh my career path and life experience i feel like it set me up really well i had a i had a background in technical drawing and technical design i've always been very like um you know a three-dimensional thinker uh very mechanically driven um you know grew up like working on my own cars and um...
