The Pro Tour's recent partnership with the PDJ Euro tour has sparked debate among disc golf fans. The announcement brought live stream coverage to seven Euro tour events and offered Pro Tour silver Series points at 14 of them, creating new opportunities for European players to earn points and potentially secure a tour car in 2024. However, some have questioned the timing of the announcement, citing that Paul McBeth was already scheduled to compete in four of these events before the partnership was revealed. Additionally, the first event, the Columbus Day Open, had already filled up at the time of the announcement. The debate centers around whether the Pro Tour's expansion to Europe is a positive move for the sport or if it's too little, too late.
