Here's what I want to know. Was the trophy actually that bad or was it just an overreaction? Does disc golf still have a trophy problem or are we just hyperfocused on it at this point? And then if so, why does this keep happening? Why do we keep ending up in this situation where a trophy becomes the focus of an event when it when it really never should at this point? Um Ross, what do you think? So my first reaction was when I saw the reaction of everyone online was everyone will just try to see that in everything. Guys will just try to see that anywhere. And then I was like I have to take this to my wife and see what she says. Showed it to her and her instant reaction was that it was a joke. It was like a bit and it was it was not real because it was just so ridiculous. And once once she said that I was like okay maybe these people are on to something. Yeah. I I I don't know how this happens. I mean there's people say there's like you know ask a teenager online whatever whatever they say do the opposite kind of steer clear of that. Um I think the the problem with trophies and I do still think they are a problem. They definitely have gotten better, but the standard is is I mean, you have everything from like the Turu Open trophy, which is like that massive like deer or whatever the heck it is, which which looks like a professional trophy, you know, all the way to something like this. is the can be like the insular nature of disc golf to where people who are making trophies, people who are being commissioned to do trophies tend to be people within the community and there maybe could be a bit of a I mean I can see this local happens locally sometimes where there's like a a fear of maybe offending people who put a lot of hard work into this. Like I'm sure the whoever made all the trophies for all the division spent a lot of hours, a lot of days grinding away at those. Um, but you know, maybe there should have been a little more check-in on on how the progress is and how they were turning...
