welcome to the nick and matt show bringing the player interviews you want to hear and the hot topics you want to discuss streaming live on the foundation podcast youtube channel here's nick and matt we've got sam gads is that how you say your last name sam uh gaddis gaddis i apologize i always just read it i don't know okay it happens all the time all right so sam gaddis this is catch cam sam as some would know him disc golf pro tour uh employee maybe disc golf network where i i don't know how you would associate yourself which one uh uh i'm the media ops manager for the disc golf pro tour okay awesome but you do also catch cam for most of the most of the shows awesome so we'll see you'll see him sometimes guys in the background running around trying to get ahead because he's got to get the cat shot so coming into hole 18 you guys are pretty locked in i would assume with your phone conferencing or radios or whatever you're using now you knew the situation um were you advancing specifically for james throw or were you already there because you were already there um yeah i mean we talked about it before the the show started about kind of strategies of where we wanted to put our cameras uh we put someone up way high and uh yeah when we had a camera crew on the chase card and when they finished with the chase card we basically had one go high and one go to the layup zone and then i went straight to the catch position um so that's just kind of how we planned it out just from the beginning of it right and so you're there and you know how it's you you know how it's playing out you said hey he has to throw this in did you know that um i knew he had to throw it in i didn't know if it was for the win or for to force a playoff in because if i'm honest it's a lot of times when you're out there filming you're i i seriously go up to fans all the time like hey you know what the score is right now because sometimes you're so locked in your focus you're active listening to...
