welcome to the nick and matt show bringing the player interviews you want to hear and the hot topics you want to discuss streaming live on the foundation podcast youtube channel here's nick and matt um so you've heard about this news um paul paul macbeth news and uh before we let you go uh thanks for sharing everything about the tournament experience again congratulations on that um how does news like paul macbeth um signing with discraft 10 million dollars 10 years does that and by the way it's been reported now by tmz the guardian bar stool sports it's it's all over not just disc golf media does that does that inspire a player like you um and if so like what does that inspiration look like to you no it's it's incredible sorry the the cat the cat food thing went off um no it's it's honestly incredible you know seeing um where the disc golf has come from and the stereotype of the disc golfer is you know living in a van down by the river and you know eating eating ramen every meal that's kind of what uh people think of when it when they think of a professional disc golfer but you know the fact that we're we're breaking the norm you know we're getting on espn and now uh a deal like this is public you know it's i'm really happy for paul because uh you know he's earned it you know the the his accolades in his career the amount of uh dedication he's put in uh but also for disc golf you know when uh you know we're all going to benefit from from this just because uh you know like you said it's getting picked up all over social media tmz bar stool you know it's uh a rising tide lifts all boats so this is uh this is incredible for disc golf it's incredible for paul and it's just a it's an amazing time to be a part of this uh this uh amazing game yeah that's that i think you said it well um it's it's big for the sport um so before we let you go you obviously won but there was somebody else that was making significant strides pushing pretty hard obviously calvin was one of those but i think there's a story line here and...
