Disc Golf in the Olympics | Grip Locked Clips

The Olympics are back on the global stage, but are they losing some of their magic in the process? A recent hot topic of discussion among fans is the lack of atmosphere and excitement at this year's Games, with no crowds in attendance due to COVID-19 restrictions. This has led to a sense of disconnection from the events themselves. However, there were still plenty of inspiring moments that made up for it. Lydia Jacobsen Smith, a 17-year-old swimmer from Alaska, won a gold medal and was met with an impromptu watch party in her hometown, which was attended by the entire town. Meanwhile, skateboarding saw a record-breaking performance from 13-year-old Emma Malabuyo. Fans of Olympic sports like swimming are missing the excitement of watching events live on TV, but moments like these prove that the Olympics still have the power to captivate and inspire audiences worldwide.
