Course Sneak Peek with Brodie and Paul | New London B9
Watch as Brodie and Paul give an honest tour of New London's Back Nine course at B9. The duo shares their thoughts on the challenging layout, discussing how it demands precise shots from players aiming for a pro level experience. As designers often have biased opinions, the pair provides a balanced perspective on what makes this course stand out. One notable aspect discussed is the increased difficulty of New London's Back Nine compared to other popular courses like Northwoods Gold. The designers' decision to provide wide fairways that require demanding shots through the front line adds an extra layer of complexity. Brodie and Paul emphasize how this course rewards accurate play, with fewer opportunities for lucky shots. They also appreciate the emphasis on making birdies count, particularly on par fours where a good shot can lead to a birdie or better.

what is good foundation nation welcome to the back nine out here at new london we just finished up the front nine we're gonna go through and give our thoughts super fast yeah i want their honest opinion honest opinion we'll start with trevor i think it's really good it's a really good nine you just have to throw far so like it's a pro course but it could definitely like i could see it on the pro tour it makes sense to me it's very fair very fair if you hit the line it's fair he's the course designer so he's biased so we're not going to really get his opinion uh yeah i'm i'm agreeing with trevor i think it this might sound crazy to the viewer because northwoods gold has been hyped up for so long it's a harder northwoods gold with wider fairways if that makes sense so like it's asking for a super demanding shot through the front line through the front nine i don't know what the back nine's about to look like but it's asking for super demanding shots it's giving you wide fairways and then if you mess up off the fairway you're either ob or kind of screwed right now um so i think that it's it's asking for really demanding shots it's not of course you're gonna come out and just like have fun with a group of buddies but that's not what it's meant to be so for what it is which is a tournament pro level course i think it's great yeah i think i think if you're looking for a challenge and you're looking for a course that shooting close to par is a really really good score this is perfect i think one thing i really like about it is no hole can you get away with throwing a good shot and make birdie there's a lot of par fours on tour where if you throw a good shot and then throw a great shot you can make birdie or you throw a great shot and then a good shot you can make birdie here if you throw a good shot you're playing for par at best so it uh it makes birdies count a lot more i like what they said let's go play so so far on the front line guys we got two...
