welcome to the nick and matt show bringing the player interviews you want to hear and the hot topics you want to discuss streaming live on the foundation podcast youtube channel here's nick and matt calvin heinberg uh vintage open champion um playing incredibly well this year let's welcome him in calvin how's it going man uh it's going good um just got here into jonesboro and got my first round in but uh yeah everything's good awesome we're so excited to have you on we're so excited you averaged 1065 rated golf uh with 1071 rated round one you ended up getting 11 birdies in a row during round two after a somewhat slow start your plus one after four holes but then you went 11 birdies in a row did something shift at that moment or a click that enabled you to turn it on or was it just like you turned it on the whole time you just had a few bad holes um yeah it was just a slow start and i don't think anything really switched it was just continued to try to birdie holes made a couple big putts in a row a couple from circle two on six and seven and then from there on out everything was pretty smooth sailing i mean i made a bunch of putts but everything just seemed to click a bunch of different pros that we found on the show before some of them keep up with the udisc live scoring some of them don't but obviously james conrad was shooting great round in round two 14 under par making a decent push going towards you did you know he was pushing yeah i mean i i did see that james was shooting a really high round at one point but um i i wasn't sure at the very end how hot he had finished i i stopped following about probably two thirds of the way through the round i was kind of focused on my own own round i was going through a lot of birdies there on my own so i wasn't super concerned with losing ground when i was birding everything that you can predict the future obviously because my next question was does that change your mindset at all but clearly it was just you going in there and saying look i'm just...
