what is up everyone welcome back to plastic attic this is episode number 30 and today we have a special guest joining on today's episode if you would like to be that special guest potentially make sure you fill out the form it's going to be the link in the description and uh without further ado let's introduce our guest all right and i want to welcome now to the show micah micah how are you doing today man oh it's a great day whenever you can talk about disc golf so i'm good absolutely man absolutely uh so i just want to dive right in uh how long have you been playing disc golf how'd you get started just just tell us a little bit about uh your backstory and and how you got going into disc golf yeah so um when i was a kid um i you know with my dad went out and played because father-son trying to figure out something to do so i knew how to throw a frisbee but i had no clue neither one of us had any clue we were doing um so that was kind of a father-son bonding thing but really kind of left that behind through high school and college years um i really got back into it 2014 2015 as a broke college student who needed ways to procrastinate um so what better way to merge those two things together and then we had a course built on campus so that was just like the trifecta of of procrastination and so it just kind of started that way um getting involved with keeping the course up since it was on campus uh ran right behind my dorm so you know i could go out and throw a couple discs every now and then so i was able to do that and then i just kind of grew from there about two or three years later after that got more on the competitive side of things um and in the last year or two i've gotten into hosting and running events as well so i've kind of dipped in a little bit of everything and just have caught the bug and as many people say that they have they got to have discs you know so that's uh that's where it's been oh yeah yeah absolutely so what...
