welcome back to the channel got a little technique tip video for you today to hopefully uh improve efficiency get some more distance maybe some more accuracy as well let's just get right into it all right so one of the biggest issues that i see a lot of people make with the backhand throw is uh in their reach back instead of just rotating back and reaching back like that they kind of lean back with the disc and they they lean back like this then as they pull through they have to you know move the whole torso forward to get into the point where they can actually release the disc that's actually really slow movement compared to just rotating around and being able to snap through and get back into that power pocket so to kind of remove that lean um what you're going to want to think about is keeping the disc close to your body until that extent so what a lot of people do they'll start reaching back well before they get into the x-step so maybe that full step they'll reach back the disc will kind of stay in the same spot and drag them back as they step through and then they're in this really weak position with our body pointed way back then they have to like move through and get this this kind of rocking motion just just takes a lot of time and not not very efficient so to fix that you want to keep the disc close to your body until that until that x step happens and then when that happens point you know pull the disc back pull that left shoulder toward the target and rotate keep your spine kind of vertical and then as you pull through you know that's that's how you get a lot more power a lot more efficiently a lot more accuracy it all comes together in one let's do some throws and see what it looks like shake that is going to do it starting to rain hopefully that technique video helps you you know improve some distance and get your technique a little bit better thank you for watching if you want to like and subscribe that'd be dope and we will see you guys in the next video
