hey guys i'm ezra with team otb and for today's video i'm going to share with you guys how i step punt i'm going to tell you guys kind of my mechanics the timing of it all and just kind of what the overall motion should be hopefully maybe you know it's helpful and will improve your circle two putting let's uh let's jump right into it so one of the main benefits to a step putt is that it allows you to do your normal putt but just add a little bit of speed with your legs so you can keep your arm movement the exact same and then just jump off of that leg and make those circle two putts a lot easier than if you would just do a normal putt so basically my normal putt is just bringing the disc to my belt line and then extending to the basket putting a little bit of spin on it not a whole lot in it you can really do anything with your arm full stat putt just whatever your normal putt is that's uh that's totally fine the main thing is with what the legs do so you basically install it like this in a normal stance it's going to be pulling your knee in and then extending it that's that's all you know bending this leg a little bit uh on the way obviously so you can push off of it so bending it and then pushing off and uh that's the basic motion um what i like to do with my with my step pot is i like to kind of fall back onto this leg a little bit just to kind of set myself up to move forward towards the basket i feel like if i can move towards the basket i have a better chance of uh hitting my aim point and keeping the disc kind of where i want it so i'll lean back on this and then as i start to push forward at the very beginning right when i start to push forward a little bit i'll bring the disc up hit my aim point with the top of the disc i'll pick my link you know so i'll lean back move forward just a little bit aim and then as i drop the disc and pull the knee in...
