How Does Disc Weight Effect SPEED?!?!//Radar Speed Gun Test
Ezra puts his disc golf skills to the test in this exciting video, where he explores the effect of disc weight on speed. By throwing different discs, including a 175g Malta, a 165g Malta (10g lighter), and a 104g Cyclone, Ezra aims to measure the impact of varying weights on flight distance. With the help of his radar speed gun, Ezra analyzes each disc's performance, sharing his findings with viewers. As an experienced disc golfer, Ezra shares his expertise on proper technique and warm-up routines to avoid injuries. He also hints at exploring different weight options to enhance distance on the course. Through a series of controlled throws, Ezra provides a unique insight into how disc weight affects speed, offering valuable information for disc golf enthusiasts looking to improve their game.
Watch as Ezra Aderhold tests the effects of disc weight on speed with a radar speed gun, exploring the surprising results of this experiment in disc golf.

what is going on guys i'm ezra and in this video i'm going to be testing out a few different uh discs with different weights to see what the different speeds are i've got my net set up i've got a radal speed gun set up just behind it and i'm going to be throwing these discs into the net as hard as i possibly can and uh seeing which ones fly faster so i don't recommend necessarily doing this you have to get really warmed up and have good technique so you don't mess anything up and don't injure yourself so don't just throw as hard as you can it's not probably the best idea but it's good content hopefully so um i have a malta which is 175 grams another malta which is 165 grams so 10 grams lighter um so that'll be interesting to see the different speeds between these two discs and then i have a cyclone which is 104 grams so this thing is super light really interested interested to see what the different speeds are between all of these discs and to see it feels like a huge difference between this uh 104 gram discs versus the 165 gram discs volts is just a 10 the 10 gram difference obviously there's a big difference between these two um so yeah i'm just curious to see what it is i've never done a test like this before and i throw only max sweet stuff in my bag basically so it'll be interesting to see if i do get a lot more speed out of a lighter disc maybe i'll have to put some lightweight stuff in my bay to potentially get some more distance on the course which would be awesome obviously um but yeah with that being said let's jump right into it and i'm just gonna throw i'm gonna throw each one a few times you guys will see the speed on the screen and we'll see how it goes so let's go okay so pulse up prototype malta test flight malta 175 hopefully you can see that 176 grams i'm going to throw this i'll do a power grip so it's all the same and we'll see how it goes 75 miles per hour decent so then get 78 would be crazy 75 miles per hour okay i'll do it one more...
