DISCRAFT BUZZZ VS MVP HEX!! | (At Brewster Ridge | 2026 GMC)

Disc golf enthusiasts gather at Brewster Ridge for a head-to-head comparison of two popular distance drivers: the Discraft Buzzz and the MVP Hex. Filmed during preparations for the 2026 Green Mountain Championships, this event serves as the first playoff on the Disc Pro Tour, offering fans live action coverage and a deep dive into equipment nuances. The hosts engage in a nine-hole battle, utilizing three mulligans to ensure clean shots while analyzing the intricate differences between the two discs. Participants test various plastics, including the new ESP stamp, Buzzz Saw, Neutron Hex, and Electron Hexamp, to see how each material affects flight stability. The discussion highlights specific course changes, such as the new T-box setup, which shifts the hole one from a straight shot to a more finicky turnover play requiring precise backhand control. Viewers learn about the distinct flight characteristics of each disc, noting how the Buzzz and Hex handle differently in terms of fade and turnover. This segment is part of a larger series, with the back nine featuring different disc battles on separate channels. Fans are encouraged to subscribe to DGN to stay updated on all the live action and detailed equipment reviews from this prestigious championship week, making it an essential watch for players looking to refine their game or choose their next driver.

I've got a Buzz. I've got a hex. And we're going to battle it out here at Brewster Edge getting ready for the Green Mountain Championships presented by Disc Mania. This is the first playoff event for the Disc Pro Tour, which means it's a good time to sign up for DGN, catch all the action live. And uh you guys have seen this course a bunch of times, and we thought it'd be a good idea to mix it up, go disc and uh make it a little bit more interesting. Yeah. just do a comparison uh the little the little intricate like differences between the two discs I suppose between the two companies. >> Y >> and uh we decided to give each other uh three mulligans in case we absolutely shank something cuz we know you guys want to see good shots rather than first available. So um we'll do uh nine holes here and then on my channel we'll do a different disc. So make sure you stay tuned for the back nine for a different disc battle. >> It's going to be fun. So, um I said to pick two that are going to fly a little bit different and I've got the gooamp. Yeah, thanks for shouting that out. >> Let's send it hole one new T- box. So, back to the coils preview style. I guess this holds 385 ft now. Old T box is right there. Changed the shot quite a bit actually. Now it's a little bit more of like a turnover shot. I think forehand can walk, but it's a little bit more finicky. Um, and then obviously a lot more distance as well, but perfect for these discs. I feel like >> from the old teapad, it was kind of like a straight shot. Like it looked like you wanted to drift to the right, but was more straight. I think this will play very similar, but I think that it shapes a lot better for a backhand instead of a forehand. >> All right, I'm going to go with the uh the buzz saw to start off. >> I think this...
