hey guys i'm ezra with team otb and i'm going to try to help you guys get a little bit more distance with a couple of quick tips in this video let's jump right into it okay so the first tip has to do with timing i think timing is probably the most important factor in creating distance if you have correct timing the whole technique will look flawless and effortless and that is what we are shooting for so basically what i look at in uh in trying to get you know correct timing is is for the plant foot to touch the ground at the same time the reach back peaks so i want i want you know do my x step and i want this foot to touch the ground when the disc is as far away from me as uh as it is right so just like this boom timing should be the same let's see what it looks like in an actual toss okay so tip number two i'm going to talk about the power pocket um i like to call it a hitbox actually because that's kind of what we want to create basically as you're pulling the disc in you want to create a perfect box between your shoulders your elbow and the disc um 90 degrees everywhere you can create 90 degree angle right here right you know between the disc and this shoulder on this elbow that's that's ideal that's going to create the most efficient way to slingshot the disc out and give you the most potential for distance um you don't want to be you know like this and rotating too soon you don't want to be um pulling all through too quick and like like this you want all 90 degree angles a public box that's the ideal way let's see what it looks like in an actual toss so that is it for this video uh hopefully it was helpful and you guys are able to get that extra distance off the tee um if you want to like subscribe that'd be great definitely use code ezra at checkout on otb discs.com for that sweet sweet free shipping helps you guys out helps me out it's a super good deal but yeah thanks for watching and i will see you in the next video okay so for...
