2 Tips For A Better Nose Angle!! (Distance) - Ezra Aderhold - Disc Golf

Ezra Aderhold from Team OTB shares his expertise on how to achieve a better nose angle in disc golf, a crucial factor in maximizing distance and aerodynamics. By adjusting your wrist position and pulling technique, you can significantly improve your game. Ezra emphasizes the importance of keeping the nose angle down, as this will result in a more efficient flight and increased distance. The video explores two key strategies for achieving a better nose angle: proper wrist alignment and a controlled pull-through motion. According to Ezra, having a straight wrist and aiming for a level hand position can help reduce the nose angle, while a shallow pull-through motion with a flat disc exit point will result in a more aerodynamic flight path. By practicing these techniques, players can fine-tune their form and unlock their full potential on the course.

hey guys i'm ezra with team otb and uh for this video i'm going to talk about nose angle and how to keep that nose angle down if you can keep the nose angle down the disc will be more aerodynamic and you'll get some more distance out of it so let's jump right into it so those kind of two things that can cause the nose angles to go up the the first one has to do with your wrist if you have a straight wrist like i'm gonna shake somebody's hand um and put a disc in it you can see the nose angle is pointed way up in relation to my foam so when i pull through like this the flight pit will just hit the air and skyrocket taking off a ton of distance so try to kind of point your waist down so that when you put the disc in there it's nice and level with your forearm and that way when you pull through it's all in the same plane and you get a lot more distance um a lot more efficient so the second thing has to do with how you pull through a lot of people that throw nose up will reach back really high and uh this kind of forces you to like swoop as you pull through since if you don't swoop then the disc will just hit the ground the ground like 20 feet in front of you and not go anywhere so they'll reach back high do this swooping motion that forces the nose angle up and it'll just you know not go anywhere so we don't want that to combat that we're actually going to do the opposite we're going to reach back really low pull through on one plane nice and high but try to have the disc come out level in relation to the ground so you know this will really if if our pull is on this angle and the disc comes out flat then uh it's really nose down that's that's kind of what we're going towards you know this is kind of something you can do just to practice to try to help get that nose angle down obviously it's not going to be you know this extreme but if you can if you can really try to over exaggerate it it'll...
