after four rounds of some of the most beautiful pure wooded disc golf that I've ever witnessed we were left with a brand new major champion and another adding yet a further major title to a legacy well in the works my name is Mason and welcome to thewind read the dust has settled in Appling Georgia a WR Jackson and the first major of the year has reached its epilogue this tournament is already becoming one of my favorites of the year after a stretch of more open tea to Green style courses we get to Dive Into the Woods Into the Heart of the Southern us and watch as our game's best try to carve out these gorgeous pine-lined Fairways and already two years into its infancy Champions Cup again and again produces today I want to talk about the dominance of our winners and a few other takeaways from the first major of the Year let's get into it the first notable thing that stuck out to me was the manner in which these titles were won Kristen and Isaac dominated their division and while this isn't a rarity in fpo if you've been following the mpo division so far this season what happened this past weekend goes against the trends we've seen we're still well into the first half of the season and there's already been four yes four Chase Card winners in the mpo division that is historic as the skill of disc golf's best seems to exponentially increase so does the parody at the top of the leaderboard playing consistent and solid disc golf no longer grants you wins you need to catch fire and then sustain it to take home a trophy this makes the dominance of Isaac Robinson this weekend all the more notable I expected the winner probably wouldn't be apparent until the final two or three holes but u-disc's win probability had Isaac at well over 90 percent of for the final round even began that is remarkable when you consider the strength of the field at this prestigious major championship the next thing that stuck out to me was well Kristen freaking Tatar there's really not a ton to analyze she won wire to wire by 14 Strokes the largest margin of Victory ever at an fpo major with more than 30 players in the field shooting the hot...
