hello everyone and welcome to championship sunday here at the 2021 united states women's disc golf championships if i'm nervous i can only imagine what haley is going through the woman she's chasing one of the most titled women we've ever seen in our sport 15 time major winner paige pierce an opening park job of paige pierce not exactly what any of us probably thought was gonna happen that after two holes of play paige would extend her lead from two to five wow we're gonna roll the zooka replay paige pierce unstoppable and she continues her dominance from circle one hundred percent on the weekend cannot overstate that enough paige fears her putter is just on fire so early but it's seeming that haley is feeling defeated she's playing incredible golf there's a moment where you just have to sit back and be in awe of it great haley from circle two while haley's trying to make it happen things aren't falling in her lap it's just when you have to realize it's one of those days for a player like paige pierce after i made the separation early in the round it totally did feel like cruise control it was this is a relatively simple track so it was just kind of get close and keep making your putts like you have been and yeah it felt like a walk in the park out here this really put the statement on i am capable of anything 100 inside the circle no doubts in my mind i'm gonna try to put off thinking about worlds for a couple more events and then uh get up to utah pretty soon you
