hello everyone and welcome to round number two of the 2022 throw pink disc golf championships we're here with your fpo lead card at the Winthrop Arena Missy Gannon trying to defend her title that she gained in 2021 off to the great start with seven under Sarah Holcomb Katrina Allen and Paige Pierce all right there they'll be joining her on the lead card and that's one of the challenges to Winthrop is you can do it one day but you got to come back and do it two or three more times again I'm Terry Miller and joined by Christine Jennings and Christine hole one seems like an easy birdie or no yeah one of the shorter holes on the course at 283 feet but it's your first hole of the day you're getting your name announced there's a double Mando you have to make it through and it's pretty nerve-wracking Champion Missy Gannon wanting that to flip up just a little bit catches inside those bushes there's it's usually pretty sparse so easy to push through Sarah Holcomb and to think it was just about 30 minutes away and 10 years ago when Sarah Holcomb picked up her first world title Charlotte 2012. this hole's a little tricky for forehand because the hole wants to filter off to the right in the same direction that the forehands do filter time women's world champion Katrina Allen Katrina looking like she had a putter in her hand didn't quite hit the gap ERS this time women's world champion Paige Pierce a standstill from Paige now playing for the accuracy rather than even thinking about some additional run-up or footwork and that's going to be off on the left side similar to where we found Missy Gannon and believe it or not this approach isn't much easier you have to get over that log and come in with just the right speed and perfectly executed thereby Katrina Allen and this can also get a little bit testy because you can't come out and have it land with too much angle otherwise it can get up and roll but the floater by Pierce to perfection see if Missy found a gap inside the bush gets through spoiler alert just before this card had gone off Jennifer Allen had to skip Ace and put it in on hole one I'm curious on...
