foreign and welcome to the back nine of round number one of the 2022 throw pink women's disc golf championships I'm Terry Miller the disc golf guy joined alongside Christine Jennings we've got our fpo feature card and one of those women we're seeing up there in second place currently is Kristen Tatar but right behind her your reigning Champion Missy Gannon also featured on this card cat merch who we see in a tie for six and it looks like the front nine has treated many of our competitors very well we're gonna head into the back things get a little bit squirrely though whole 10 Par 3 at 331 feet this is a little bit shorter than it was last year you see again with the rock walls that line the OB this is a kind of a backwards hole nine it's just the safe part of the fairways on the left hand side the basket kind of sits on a peninsula you might see some players go for it and you might see some players lay up on the left this hole comes in about 30 feet shorter than the previous hole did and that is inbounds and about circle's Edge for Kristen and if you're new here you may notice that there's a bunch of rocks out there in the Fairway those are more of a natural marker that we're seeing this year as we're watching cat merge drift back to the basket very similar spot to where Kristen is and just inside of those rocks they actually have inlaid the out of bounds line so rather than having a line on the ground and then a line about a foot and a half above it to denote where the OB is the rocks are more of a visual and there's no upper line that's been put out on the course and you also can tell by the long versus Short Grass is also an indicator is Missy Gannon closest to the pin so far Elena with the lower Drive I was just gonna say hold your breath for just a moment making sure she clears the OB but she actually goes deep of the basket and she's inside the circle coming back at it here's Kristen with a birdie look slightly uphill notice the lack of wind on that flag beautiful conditions for disc golf...
