This Week in Disc Golf | May 12, 2022
Catch up on the latest happenings in disc golf with Charlie Eisenhauer's weekly recap. It was a relaxed week for many pros, but a packed schedule of A-tier events around the world kept things exciting. The Prodigy Disc Pro Tour made its first stop in Helsinki, where Christian Kwoksa took down Nicholas Antila to earn his 10-18 rated win. In Colorado, Kyle Klein fired off a hot start at the 303 Open and dominated the field by four strokes. Rebecca Cox edged out Deanne Carey and Sammy Joe Guerrero by the same margin in another Colorado event. Meanwhile, Alden Harris secured a one-stroke victory at the Challenge at Goat Hill tournament in California, showcasing his strong form this season. The real showstopper came from Drew Gibson, who crushed a 125-foot drive on hole 15, followed up with an impressive second shot throw that would leave even the most seasoned players green.
