Charlie Eisenhood is back with another edition of This Week in Disc Golf, covering the eighth stop on the Disc Golf Pro Tour - The Preserve Championship. Held at Kale Lavisca's Airborne Preserve in Clearwater, Minnesota, this event took place on the Black Bear course. Paige Pierce dominated the competition, showcasing her skills from the front nine onwards. She began with a strong tee shot on hole 3 and continued to impress throughout the tournament. Ella Hansen emerged as a strong contender, particularly in round two, where she put together an impressive run of birdies, including a memorable backhand shot on hole 6. The event highlighted Pierce's exceptional skill and consistency, ultimately leading her to a comfortable five-stroke victory over Ella Hansen and Missy Gannon. The Preserve Championship served as a highlight reel for the Disc Golf Pro Tour, featuring top-notch play and breathtaking scenery.

welcome to another edition of this week in disc golf it is thursday june 30th i'm charlie eisenhood and here's what happened this week well we had the eighth stop on the disc golf pro tour the preserve championship taking place in clearwater minnesota at kale lavisca's airborne preserve we're on the black bear course let's jump into the action page pierce two down through two in the opening round tee shot on hole three yeah that's gonna work three four three to start for pierce and for good measure how about four for four paige pierce absolutely on fire in the front nine look at the beautiful turn on this shot a little fade back parks it easy birdie there knocks it home on 17 she takes the early lead and she would never relinquish it but pressure from missy gannon second shot on the opening par four beautifully done for gannon and she was showing off the putter as well going up the hill and in on hole number three ella hansen dialing up the backhand tee shot putting it inside the circle and then on hole number six just absolutely mashes this one and who knows what would happen if that disc didn't hit the branch i think she's thinking the same thing miss again an elevated basket puts in another one that's four in a row in round number two ella hansen to the forehand on 14. great weight on that upshot but paige pierce was still holding strong off the pole on 14 and then over the water on 18 as she walked in a comfortable victory but paige pierce just too good for anybody to catch she enters the final round with a sizeable lead and shots like that kept her at a distance from the field ultimately she goes on to win by five strokes over ella hansen and missy gannon let's hear from the champ after her win yeah i mean honestly it just feels like our playground as disc golfers you know just to be out in nature watching the tall grass blow and you know watching our discs you know it's it's hard to put into words but you know if you're a disc golfer and you've had a tough day and you get out on the disc golf course that's where you're all feeling the same thing gratitude and...
