hello and welcome to another edition of this week in disc golf it is june 23rd i'm charlie eisenhood let's talk about what happened this week well we had the match play championships up in bayley colorado and we got 16 players going head to head in mpo and fpo trying to take down a ten thousand dollar first place prize let's get things started in fpo early on ella hansen showing off the distance easy heiser up to the basket in pool play players had to play three 12 hole matches against other players and the top player from each four-person pool advancing to the semi finals so ella hansen cooking early we're up at altitude folks bailey and the rockies west of denver and owen scoggins also playing well early on canon some putts tapping in some easy birdies winning the match and she gets through to semis she'll play lisa fakes ella hansen taking on natalie ryan so first get a look at fakus but owen scoggins answers haves the hole she's got no problem playing at altitude she's already thrown over stable plastic she gets inside the circle and cashes in the putt just like that owns coggins looking great on the green as per usual hole 10 she's got a three hole lead and puts it away dominant win over lisa fakes to make it to the final in my other semi-final ella hansen down early hole four going a bit long of the basket left but coming back hitting the putt winning the hole now natalie ryan is down a hole as we move over to hole number eight and she gets inside the circle so they get all square heading into whole nine hanson huge kaiser coming in catching a little roll but still inside putting range and man has her putter improved she knocks in another one she wins the hole she's up one heading into 11. third throw on the par five way up into the air and trickling to about thirty feet natalie ryan can't find the par putt she'll drop the hole to hansen and that will do it so hanson moves on she faces owen scoggins in the final owen scoggins five seed ella the three scoggins little ace run action and why not ace run it when you know you're gonna make the putt early whole win...
